Skier’s thumb is the no.2 ski injury ! second only to MCL of the knee. It accounts for +/-10% of all ski injuries (50,000 - 200,000 a year global). Sheeld is an ambidextrous handle with a protective thumb cradle that takes the impact, keeping your thumb safely in place. The cradle is open on top for all thumb & glove sizes and combined with a break-away strap allows for easy pole release when necessary. Registered Design.
